U.S. Rep. John Shimkus is the latest adorable republican to ask this question that I could swear I’ve heard asked before. (And if I’m right, then kudos to climate change denier Shimkus for recycling!)
In response to the EPA’s recent action on classifying greenhouse gases as air pollutants, Shimkus today shared his thoughts:
Shimkus noted that carbon dioxide is a natural result of breathing and asked, “Does EPA propose we stop breathing?”
The Illinois Republican also joined with other members of Congress in a letter urging the president not to agree to pollution reductions at the Copenhagen conference on global warming.
Congratulations Rep. Shimkus, you cracked the code! YES. That’s exactly what they want!
That is…..unless the Death Panels get to you first!
