Sarah Palin is planning on giving another speech tonight, this time in Wisconsin at a Right To Life event.
The speech comes at a time when her poll numbers aren’t exactly soaring. In fact, a new Gallup survey shows that only about one in three people would actually consider voting for her at all. Of course everyone but Sarah, who has a vivid imagination and views things just a bit differently than the rest of us do, would see this as a bad thing. I mean, Sarah probably see this as…………………well, who knows how she sees it, I certainly have no insight into what drives the mind of someone like that, but never mind.
Now, if you’re planning to blow the $30 and pay to see her tonight (hey, that’s some mark down; “guess we’re not in Hong Kong anymore Toto.”), don’t bring your cellphone, laptop, camera or anything that would be capable of recording anything at the event. Because, like every other speaking event Sarah participates in, anything that shows Sarah actually “makin’ things up” is not permitted. Nope, Sarah just demands transparency from others. As for herself? Not so much.
Wisconsin Democratic Party Chairman Mike Tate said he finds the restrictions “bizarre:”
“You know, for someone who claims to be a rogue and isn’t afraid of what other people think it really is sort of hypocritical to not let the media, the press cover your event.”
Of course, no one really believes (well, other than Sarah) that someone won’t manage to record at least part of the speech and spread it to the evil media. So, to that person(s?) I say: “Bring it on, baby, bring it on!”
What’s that I hear? Crickets?
Yes, and also too I believe it was some more poll numbers tumbling………………..
