One of the latest moves, or maybe I should say “lack of moves” from the “Grand Obstructionist Party” isn’t just their opposition to all Americans getting affordable, quality health care, which they all have themselves. No, preventing Congress from getting a health care reform bill passed isn’t quite good enough for them. The GOP wing-nuts have gone even further than that:
Republicans have put a hold on the confirmation vote of President Obama’s nominee for Surgeon General, Regina Benjamin, who was unanimously approved by the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee on Oct. 7.
Yes, we are in the midst of the H1N1 flu pandemic, and yet the “Grand Obstructionist Party” does everything in its power to deprive the American people of a Surgeon General.
Just another one of the many reasons the GOP’s approval ratings are in the……..well, never mind. You get my point.
